Industry professionals surveyed for the Dodge Data & Analytics’ World Green Building Trends 2018 SmartMarket Report said they expect significant growth in demand for green building, with 60% expecting to factor in environmental concerns into their projects by 2021. So reports Concrete Products.
The survey was based on responses from 2,000 architects, contractors, engineers, owners, consultants and real estate investors spanning 86 countries. The survey also found a dramatic decrease in the perception that green building costs more than traditional construction.
