Homebuyers are expected to make out well as the calendar flips into 2019, as experts expect mortgage rates to drop. So reports Housing Wire.

Builders reported trepidation in new home construction projects, but did note a recent uptick in demand. According to the article, renovation spending is also expected to increase next year. Sinking interest rates may not hold through the whole year, one expert noted, but pointed out the housing market is trending in a favorable direction at present.
