Covert Operation: Builders Sought for FBI’s New Headquarters

Your Mission: Somewhere in the greater Washington D.C., help build the FBI’s new headquarters. Your Source: The General Services Administration, the government’s real estate arm.

On or about Janu 20, 2017 the GSA will be releasing an RFP for construction management firms interested in taking on what may be a $2 billion “mission.” So reports The Washington Business Journal.

Competing firms will go through high level security clearances and work on budget, purchasing studies, reports, project presentations. Teams competing for the project will be graded on a range of factors including experience on similar projects with construction costs not less than $100 million.
