Building Innovation Conference Slated for January in D.C.

Merging science and design is the current running through the upcoming National Institute of Building Sciences Fifth Annual Conference & Expo, January 9-12, 2017, at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington, D.C.

The conference will focus on innovative approaches that allow stakeholders, policy makers, developers, building owners and building occupants to achieve high-performing, resilient buildings and communities. Collaborative approaches that bring together expertise from a variety of disciplines across the pre-build and building life cycle will be a central theme of symposia, exhibits, and learning sessions. Expect topics such as renewable energy, team building, R & D, strategies to address worker shortages, technology, standards, and examples of how established high-performing builds met their goals.
