Coalition to Modernize American Infrastructure Takes Aim at Key Construction Projects

With American infrastructure becoming a more high profile issue in D.C., a new coalition has stepped up to promote investment in transportation, energy, water and broadband systems. So reports the Engineering News-Record.

Launched on Feb 13, the Coalition to Modernize American Infrastructure is calling for more federal direct spending and private-public partnerships to move this initiative forward. Members of the CMAI include the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Governors Association, and the North America’s Building Trades Unions among others.
