Site Worker Charged for Putting Co-worker in Coma, Cover-up

Two construction workers are facing assault and tampering charges after an alleged alcohol-fueled altercation at a loading dock. So reports The Boston Herald.

A nighttime site supervisor for Select Demo, Kevin Medeiros, assaulted an intoxicated co-worker, Marcello Rindeiko. Medeiros, along with site foreman Jean Beaulieu, attempted to cover up a serious head injury to Rindeiko.

Rindeiko spent five days in a coma and suffered a “fractured skull, internal bleeding, fractured facial bones and a traumatic brain injury,” the article reads. Medeiros and Beaulieu are due in court on Feb. 20 for a hearing.
