Construction Industry Soaking Up Venture Capital at Rapid Rate

The construction industry has become a focal point for tech investments and venture capital money, rapidly growing over the past decade to $1.38 billon. So reports Curbed.

Investments in architecture, engineering and construction companies totaled $4.5 million in 2008. Last year that number rose to $882.3 million before already being topped in 2018. Several startups, including Rhumbix and Procore, have raised millions amid the trend.
