Ironworker Dies at Amazon Air Hub Construction Site

A construction worker at the Amazon Air Hub construction site at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport has died in a workplace accident. So reports Cincinnati.com.

iron 2243287 640 smallThe victim was 46-year old Loren Shoemake, an ironworker employed by Columbus Steel Erectors. Shoemake has been a member of the Union Iron Workers Local 44 since 2003. The nature of the accident is not entirely clear as of press time. First responders were called to the scene at 12:44 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 1. An OSHA investigation is underway, according to the article.
