OSHA Revises Rule on Fatalities & Serious Injury Reporting and Recordkeeping

The new rule, made effective in January 2015, requires employers to notify OSHA within eight hours when an employee is killed on the job; and within 24 hours when an employee suffers a work-related hospitalization, amputation or loss of an eye.
