NASA Green Building to Save $80K Per Year in Operating Costs

The Marshall Space Flight Center’s reduced water usage and installed solar panels will save NASA approximately $80,000 each year. So reports WAAY 31.

The new green building’s operating costs will be half of what they were in an older building, reported one employee. Water usage, as a result of the building’s design, will be reduced by 30% for the some 400 employees that will inhabit the building.
