Metro Area Construction Jobs Up, Labor Still Scarce "Taxi for hire"

Construction employment was up in 252 out of 358 metro areas from August 2018 to August 2019. So reports the USGlass News Network.

Employment dropped in 60 of the areas measured and was flat in 46, according to the data provided by the Associated General Contractors of America. The Dallas-Plano-Irving, Texas metro area had the most robust job growth, adding 12,400 jobs (8%) in the past year.
